I’m not completely sure why having a camera in my hands feels right, but it does. Maybe it’s the chance to forever remember the color of a sunset, explore the details of a waves’ ripples, or illustrate the way the wind moves through a grassy field. Whatever it is, I know that looking at the world through a viewfinder is a way I truly enjoy experiencing life.

More recently, I have found that same inspiration in graphic design, specifically digital art. Recreating sights I’ve seen and repurposing some of my own photographs have allowed me to see colors and details I didn’t notice the first time around. Doing so helps me embrace the world around us.

My passion for photography, videography, and digital art can easily be tracked back to my history of moving throughout the state of California and childhood summers filled with cross-country road trips. These adventures took me from the beloved sights of Yosemite National Park to the plains of the Midwest and the cascading falls in Niagara. My adult years have guided me beyond larger borders to Europe, where I was captivated by the rolling hills of Great Britain and castle ruins in Ireland.

Wherever God places me, I thrive to visually capture the landscape, architecture, and wildlife that have made our world so mesmerizing. I believe doing so is a way I can appreciate the earthly blessings we have been given and connect with fellow travelers along the way.
